- Troops first — every % multiplies them.
- Upgrade troop camps → stronger troops.
- Level, star and gear heroes → carry more troops.
- Hero ATK doesn't hit — it only counts through gear.
- % buffs last.
What does every % buff multiply?
Your troops: each troop's own attack, times how many troops you send. Every percentage in the game multiplies that.
Research, vehicle, pet, VIP, hero passives, gear — they're all percentages, and they all add into one total (the damage formula shows how). A percentage of nothing is nothing. So the number they multiply matters more than any single one of them.
That number has two parts: how hard each troop hits, and how many troops you send.
What sets how hard each troop hits?
The camp's level. Industry 8 gives each troop 82% more attack than a level-30 camp.
Open a troop camp and tap your top troop. My Doomsday Captain (Tier X Fighter) shows Attack 51 +42. The 51 is the troop. The green +42 is what my camp's Industry levels add.

How much is one camp level worth? Industry 7 → 8 takes each troop from 86 to 93 attack: +8%. To get +8% from % attack on my account, I'd need about 200 more points of it. Every attack buff in the game added together is about 42. That's why Precision Parts belong on your main camp first.
What sets how many troops I send?
Your heroes. Each hero leads a set number of troops, from their level, stars and gear.

Add up all five heroes and you get the size of your march. More troops, bigger starting number, more damage from every percentage you already have.
Why doesn't my hero's attack number add to my damage?
Because in troop battles the troops do the hitting. Your hero's ATK only reaches your troops through the gear that hero wears.
This catches a lot of players. Noah's Stats screen says ATK 40,045. It's natural to think that number goes into every hit. It doesn't.

Here's what that number actually does:
- In troop battles (rallies, PvP, monsters on the map), as far as my tests show, it affects your damage in one way only: the gear that hero wears adds more to your troops' attack when the hero's own ATK is higher. That's why your best gear belongs on your highest-ATK heroes — and why the effect is small.
- In hero battles (Adventure and other hero-only modes), the hero fights on their own, and their ATK matters directly.
So levelling and starring a hero is still worth it for troop battles — but because it raises troops led and unlocks skills, not because the ATK number hits harder.
The game says camp upgrades "boost unit stats", and the numbers are on screen. What I haven't measured is how much one camp level moves damage in a real fight — the +8% assumes troop attack counts in full. Camp upgrades can't be undone, so I'll test it on my next one. A quicker check: hit the same monster with half the troops. If damage roughly halves, troop count is part of the starting number.
